Depart from Mombasa by sunrise. A drive of about 115 Kilometers in the direction of Nairobi, taking you into 'Bachuma gate' where you enter the East section of the Tsavo National Park- Kenya's Largest game sanctuary, famed for it's huge herds of elephants. It is also the home of Lions, Rhinos, Giraffe, Zebra and as well as a variety of other game. You will see water birds at the Aruba Dam on the way to Voi Safari Lodge. An excellent buffet lunch will be held at Voi Safari lodge, which is build on a hillside enabling a very good view of the Savannah and water hole just opposite the restaurant.

Driving 125 km's north of Mombasa passing through large sisal plantations. Stop on route at Gede Ruins - an ancient Arab city in the heart of dense forest. The tour includes a trip abroad a glass bottomed boat to the Marine National Park where you have an ideal opportunity (depending on the tide) to snorkel. Lunch at a hotel and later visit the falconry - an exotic bird farm, before returning to your hotel late in the evening. A visit to the Vasco da gama pillar will be treasured.

You are picked up at the reception of your hotel and transferred to the Jahazi Marine Jetty on Tudor Creek. Your exciting excursion starts at 1745 hrs with a cruise on one of our old Arabian Dhows. They are a fine example of the traditional cargo carrying boats that used to ply the Indian Ocean routes. You will sail into the sunset across the Tudor creek to the old harbor. Arrive at the old port of Mombasa as merchants, explorers and missionaries did centuries before. A short guided walk through the old Town will give you a taste of some of the spectacular Swahili architecture and mysterious atmosphere for which Swahili Coast if famous.

Mombasa City Tour.

Mombasa Island

A comprehensive tour of the island will include the Fort Jesus, built by the Portuguese in 1593, guarding the entrance to the Old Harbor. It still stands today as a museum holding a fascinating collection of historic coastal artifacts. The tour further takes you to the old Arab town with its maze of narrow twisting carved doors, goldsmiths and curio shops, Hindu temple and finally, the Akamba Handicraft Corporative, where over 1900 members produce a great variety of reasonably priced wood carvings. Visit the fruit market and then proceed North to Haller Park and engage in feeding of giraffes, crocodiles and the hippos. Engage in a short shopping expedition before returning to your hotel.

The Mombasa Tamarind is undoubtedly one of Africa’s finest sea food restaurants. Live sea food from the Indian Ocean is prepared to perfection from a variety of exotic European, Eastern and Swahili recipes. Idyllically situated on a cliff top overlooking the old Mombasa Harbor, you can savour the ocean scented magic whilst dining outdoors under the tropical sky.Transfer from your hotel to the Tamarind jetty where the Arab dhow is anchored, ready to sail. The dhow passes the floodlit area of the Old Harbor and Tudor Creek. Dinner is prepared by the chefs, as you enjoy the sunset and listen to the music of a live band. After a delicious meal, the anchor is dropped. Dance to the strains of the resident band, returning to the jetty for transfer back to your hotel.
